A Thai Soldier’s 18 hour Shooting Rampage

It happened before 9 local time on Sunday morning in Korat, north of Bangkok. A solider stole weapons and a Humvee from a military base after killing a superior. He then drove to shopping mall, shooting at random along his route. There are at least 29 people dead and 58 injured in the city. Thai authorities said that he was enraged over a real estate dispute. A soldier was shot and killed by security forces in the end. This will be seen as not just an individual case, but as a sign of underlying tensions. It because the situation of economy is really not going well. People are not happy with that. Government should pay more attention on underlying.
