Advancements In the Cellular World: The good, the bad, the ugly.

As we evolve, technology becomes cheaper and therefore more accessible to more people. In 2015 Apples Iphone had superior capability to sixteen different devices in 1990 that would have cost over $10,000.

Moore’s theory notes that the power of computers would double every 12 months while the cost of that technology would fall by 50% over the same time. This has been the case as devices become smaller and use less material.

The development of the IPhone by Apple is an example of this. Apple brought out a phone that can literally do everything and no other company in the mobile phone market could compare to it. You can download games, books, and even access the news and social networking sites in seconds.

Of course this was positive as people could use the phone to store data for work, education, entertainment. But negative impacts began as well. Ninety-one percent of American adults and 60 percent of teens own a cell phone. The average person spends 144 minutes a day using his or her phone during a 16-hour period. There are several negative effects of cell phones and there are actually increased stress levels from those who use a mobile device.

One of the most pressing disadvantages of the frequent use of the mobile phones is their impact on traffic accidents. Typically, the distractions from using the cell phones not only prevents people from productive interaction with others but also cost lives of both the user and nonuser in case the accident has occurred. For instance, the drivers have always been notorious for ignoring the traffic rules through engaging in texting, and checking the social media platforms hence cause loss of control of their which leads to accidents.

The adverse effects of the use of mobile phones may be felt on the people’s health, children’s development and education, socialization and interactions of individuals in the society among other significant influence on the business and social environment.
